Instage Inc. ("Instage," "we," "our," or "us") provides the Express Interview service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information.
By using Express Interview, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Name
- Phone number
- Job title and any job description text you submit
- Interview-related content you provide through the Service
- Messages you send through support chat
1.2 Call, transcript, and messaging data
- Call metadata (for example: call status, timestamps, duration, failure reason)
- Audio/transcription data generated during interviews
- Interview transcripts and report content
- Inbound and outbound SMS message content and metadata (including command messages like READY or STOP)
1.3 Account and billing data
- Account identifiers linked to your phone number
- Purchase and subscription records
- Payment processor references (for example: Stripe customer/session/payment IDs)
We do not store full payment card numbers. Card processing is handled by Stripe.
1.4 Device and technical data
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- Basic usage, diagnostics, and security logs
- Cookie/local storage data required to operate the website and session state
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Verify your phone number
- Deliver interview calls, transcripts, reports, and SMS updates
- Process purchases and subscriptions
- Enforce fair-use rules and prevent fraud/abuse
- Maintain reliability, monitor performance, and debug issues
- Comply with legal obligations
- Improve and evaluate the Service
3. SMS and Call Communications
Express Interview uses transactional SMS and phone calls as core product functionality.
- SMS is transactional only for this product (no marketing SMS at this time).
- You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP, but opting out may disable key features.

4. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Telecom providers and messaging/call vendors
- Payment processors (including Stripe)
- AI/model and infrastructure providers used to operate interview functionality
- Hosting, analytics, logging, and security vendors
- Professional advisors and auditors
- Law enforcement or regulators where required by law
We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account data for the duration of your account.
If you cancel/close your account, we target deletion of your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law, needed for legitimate business records, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or to enforce our agreements.
Important: Canceling only a subscription in Stripe does not automatically close your account. Account closure requests must be made through the website support chatbot.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
You may submit privacy requests through the support chatbot on `expressinterview.ai`.
You may also:
- Stop SMS by sending STOP (subject to product limitations described above)
- Cancel subscriptions through the Stripe customer portal
8. International and Cross-Border Processing
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions. Data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from your home jurisdiction.
9. Children's Privacy
Express Interview is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or higher age where required by local law).
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date and post the revised version.
